Class B CDL Driver - Vacuum Truck Driver
Triumvirate Environmental, one of North America's largest environmental services firms, is seeking a CDL Driver to join our Somerville team. The role involves operating both a standard and vacuum truck to load and transport hazardous waste from various client locations.
We are in search of a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer service-focused individual. Responsibilities will include handling local runs or offloads across various locations in the greater Boston area. In addition, this individual will work in collaboration with the Field Services team onsite to fulfill assigned projects.

This role is under the supervision of an Onsite Manager and is located at our office in Somerville, MA.
Essential responsibilities:
- Operate standard and vacuum trucks to load and transport hazardous waste from client sites, with a focus on local route driving.
- Ensure accurate pick-up and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, prioritizing exceptional customer service.
- Show determination/eagerness to learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices.
- Develop an understanding of DOT, EPA & OSHA regulations and TEIs Health and Safety Practices.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Routinely perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A or BCommercial Driver's License
- Active Tanker endorsement
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
- Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
- Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
- The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste.This role is considered safety-sensitive
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
Preferred Skills:
- Hazmat endorsement or willing to obtain
- Completion of 40 Hour OSHA, CPR and First Aid Training
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and computers
