A leading media technology company is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its legal team. This exciting, innovative tech company has a global presence and has become the leading platform in its space with plans to only continually expand. This individual will have the ability to work alongside product, data, and information security teams and have range of responsibilities, including providing legal guidance in the areas of data privacy, consumer protection and AI. The role is remote-friendly, however the ideal candidate would be based out of either New York City or Miami.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and a draft a range of commercial agreements - including NDAs, vendor, SaaS, data processing, and vendor agreements
• Provide both practical and creative advice and counsel on legal and business requests
• Work cross functionally with various teams to provide creative legal advice and keep relevant on US international laws and regulations pertaining to data and consumer protection

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with IP licensing, product licensing, and commercial negotiation and drafting
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
• JD and active bar membership
