World-class Automotive supplier in the Metro Detroit, MI area is looking for a Materials Planner to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Forecast supply needs for a given period
• Negotiate contracts with vendors
• Order supplies so manufacturing can continue without interruption
• Expedite orders when supplies are low
• Adjust order sizes as needs fluctuate

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in business or logistics
• Supply chain and vendor management experience
• Strong negotiation and forecasting skills
• Experience with MRP and SAP software preferred
