Job Description

A top investment management firm based in San Francisco is seeking a Finance Product Marketing Associate to join their growing team. In this role, you will directly contribute to the business development and client service efforts by producing timely, accurate, and high-quality responses to RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs from institutional and intermediary clients.


Comp package: $100k - $145k + Bonus + Excellent Benefits!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of RFP/RFI/DDQ responses, from initiation through submission, ensuring content is timely, accurate, and aligned with the firm’s messaging.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Client Services teams to understand business priorities and provide context for responses.
  • Maintain and update consultant databases with high-quality, accurate content that reflects the firm’s strengths.
  • Review, edit, and proofread responses to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Contribute to research and other special projects as needed.
  • Provide general support to the team with administrative tasks, as required.


What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-8 years of experience in investment management, with a focus on RFP, RFI, and DDQ responses.
  • A strong understanding of equities, fixed income, and traditional investment vehicles (mutual funds, separate accounts, CITs, etc.).
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • A collaborative and approachable team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, English).
  • An MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation is a plus.
