Job Description

Our client, a non-profit organization focused on social justice, is seeking a dynamic and experienced People Operations Manager to lead, and manage key human resources functions, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment. This role involves oversight of HR operations, including onboarding, benefits, talent management, recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and learning and development initiatives.


**Please note this is an on-site, contract role with a possibility of transitioning to temp-to-perm. Pay will be $80-105k**


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and streamline day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, benefits administration, and talent management to ensure an exceptional employee experience.
  • Manage the recruitment pipeline, collaborating with hiring managers to attract top talent and maintain a robust hiring process.
  • Oversee the annual performance evaluation process, ensuring it aligns with company goals and promotes employee development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, handling investigations and ensuring issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop and manage learning and development programs that support employee growth and align with organizational objectives.
  • Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies that align with business goals and foster a culture of engagement and high performance.


Qualifications

  • 5+ experience in HR operations, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of handling sensitive matters with professionalism.
  • Experience in learning and development program design and execution is a plus.
