Summary
The VP, Truck Service Transformation will lead the digital transformation and modernization of our truck service and fleet service operations. The leadership role will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative strategies to optimize fleet performance, reduce operational costs, and ensure best-in-class service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fleet maintenance, repair operations, and a proven track record in leading digital initiatives to drive business results.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the transition from traditional truck service models to digital-first solutions that increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve service quality.
- Drive the day-to-day advancement of the comprehensive, multi-year digital transformation strategy and roadmap focused on evolving service through leveraging technology to streamline fleet operations, including proactive maintenance, telematics, and mobile service platforms.
- Collaborate with field teams to incorporate voice of team member and customers in the advancement of the transformation roadmap associated products.
- Collaborate and lead communication across the advancement of the roadmap; manage risks, issues, actions, decisions, assumptions, and dependencies across the advancement of the roadmap.
- Work cross-functionally with the operations, IT, procurement, and HR teams to ensure seamless testing and integration of new technologies, digital tools, and processes within the organization.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and equipment manufacturers. Implement new ways of working and modern solutions aligned with company goals.
- Partner with bp Technology to drive excellence in digital product discovery and delivery (including building product management capability into the Truck Services organization), build strong data governance, and support strategic technology vendor relationships.
- Identity and implement best practices and cutting-edge technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance programs, ensuring fleet readiness and performance.
- Utilize fleet management data to create actionable insights, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and improve operational outcomes.
- Lead change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of digital tools and new maintenance processes across the organization.
- Ensure that all fleet operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience (Master’s Degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in truck service management, fleet maintenance, or similar operations.
- Proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives, including telematics, predictive maintenance, or mobile service solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance technologies, and regulatory requirements in the transportation industry.
- Strong leadership, project management, and change management skills.
- Experience with data analytics and using KPIs to measure and improve fleet performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Ability to travel as needed.
