Our client, a condominium corporation, is seeking a Live-In Superintendent to join their team. As a Live-In Superintendent, you will be responsible for maintaining the building and ensuring that the Corporation’s Rules and By-Laws are upheld. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, some degree of creative problem-solving skills, and good computer skills.

Job Title: Live-In Superintendent

Location: Ottawa, ON

Pay Range: $50,000 - $55,000( Negotiable based on experience)

What's the Job?

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly building cleaning requirements
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance/repair or coordination of interior and exterior maintenance/repair needs
• Perform weekly waste management duties, including moving garbage, recycling, and green (organic waste) bins to the curb and back into garage/garbage room according to the City’s waste management schedule
• Support the Property Manager and Board of Directors in ensuring that the Corporation’s Rules and By-Laws are upheld
• Coordinate directly with the Property Manager on maintenance, repair, By-Law/Rules, and other issues that require management oversight

What's Needed?

• Minimum 5 years as a live-in superintendent with building maintenance and cleaning experience
• Experience with the use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and power tools
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques
• Ability to operate machinery such as snowblower, lawnmower, bin buddy, vacuum, carpet cleaner, etc.
• Good communication skills
