Production Operators
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Bloomington/Normal area, is seeking Production Operators to join their team! This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
Position Summary: Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, or products.
Production Operator Essential Responsibilities:
Follow work orders, drawings, or verbal instructions. Align and secure parts using various methods. Mount and connect components. Install assemblies in cases. Attach hardware to assemblies. Perform intermediate tasks like sanding and cleaning. Operate machines for pressing, shaping, or winding parts. Adjust materials to meet specifications. Conduct on-line testing and inspection. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: - Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training.
- Skills: Basic reading, writing, math, and reasoning abilities.
Physical Demands: Must meet physical requirements; reasonable accommodations available.
Working Conditions: Exposure to fumes, moving parts, and chemicals; moderate noise level.
Additional Information: - Company: Manufactures Custom Built Wiring Harnesses.
- Nature of Work: Small hands work with wires, plugs, and terminals. Attention to detail and speed required.
- Cross Training: Rotating stations.
- Environment: Sitting or standing; music allowed with one earbud.
- Hours: Mon - Thurs, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Pay: $15 hourly, raise after 30 days, weekly attendance bonus.
