As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for the people leadership and technical execution of our planned maintenance and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime and drive efficiencies with the plant production equipment by utilizing Asset Optimization, Defect Elimination, and Breakdown Elimination. Prioritizes and assigns resources based on shifting production and schedule demands.nnActively participates in the site DMS meetings with reporting ownership for maintenance metrics.nnWeekly tracking and reporting of maintenance KPI’s for team: PM and Corrective Completion, Backlog, WO aging, Mean Time to Complete, Breakdowns, Defects, etc.nnProvides technical leadership in the development and utilization of Clean-Inspect-Lubricate and Centerlines.nnEnsures equipment is maintained at basic condition through coaching Defect Elimination.nnProvides leadership in troubleshooting and problem-solving breakdowns and reliability losses with cross-functional team. Drives failures to root cause using Breakdown Elimination processes.nnResponsible for cost management and budget compliance in partnership with site Maintenance Leadership team.nnParticipates in equipment maintenance strategy improvement using inputs from maintenance team, breakdown elimination findings, defect trends, and equipment condition monitoring.nnSupervises equipment repair and rebuilds during scheduled outages.nnTeaches, coaches, and develops maintenance team members in areas of technical, leadership, and process utilization.nnPerforms work quality audits to ensure compliance to expectations.nnEnsures teams leverage SAP PM (or applicable CMMS) for maintenance activities. Ensures compliance to CMMS data integrity standards.nnIdentifies and resolves issues regarding spare part availability.nnProvides regular communication to direct team, site leadership and key stakeholders.nnLead and direct contractor and vendor work execution.nnLeads performance management cycle for employees, including objective setting,nndevelopment, performance reviews, discipline, rewards, and recognition.nnLeads interviewing, staffing, and onboarding of new employees on-shift.nnQualifications:nnHigh school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.nnMinimum of 3 years related experience.nnMust have knowledge and skills in the technologies of fasteners, lubrication, mechanical drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication, electrical power systems, electrical control systems, production/process, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, and computerized maintenance management systems.nnWorking knowledge of food plant production and processing equipment preferred. Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety, EPA regulations, USDA and sanitation standards preferred.nnMust have previous supervisor experience. Basic PC skills including expertise with MS Office and Outlook. SAP experience beneficial.nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills.nnMust have basic mathematical and problem-solving skills to generate and maintain departmental reports.nnMay be required to be clean shaven if trained in the use of and required to use a respirator.nnMust be capable and willing to work any shift and be on 24-hour call for emergency situations as necessary.nnThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the job.
