Cabot Citrus Farms Cabot's first U.S. destination, Cabot Citrus Farms, is situated on 1,200 acres of rolling land and will include Cabot's signature combination of world-class golf, luxury accommodations and real estate opportunities. Opening in 2023, Cabot Citrus Farms will feature two revitalized 18-hole courses, a par-3 course, a new clubhouse and extensive practice facilities. The property is a short 50-minute drive from Tampa and an 80-minute drive from Orlando. While close to urban amenities, the property sits in the central-west region of Florida aptly known as the Nature Coast. Visitors will delight in one-of-a-kind experiences including exceptional hiking, biking and nature trails at neighboring Withlacoochee State Forest, spring- fed rivers and bountiful lakes at Crystal River, and world-class fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
Position Overview As a Housekeeping Attendant at Cabot Citrus Farms, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests comfort and satisfaction during their stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, contributing to the overall guest experience, and upholding Cabot's high standards of cleanliness and service.
Key Responsibilities - Deep cleaning vacant rooms to the Legacy quality standards, including kitchen, bathrooms, furniture
- Deep cleaning floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
- Change bedding and make beds to the Legacy quality standards
- Replenish supplies such as cooking and eating supplies, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean unit windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
- Dust unit appliances, fans, furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Move and arrange furniture to make sure all trash has been removed
- Work with the Supervisory team to ensure the unit is being completed to the Legacy quality standards
- Submit work order requests to maintenance as necessary and follow up to ensure completion of request
- Ensure that all special projects and general cleaning status is reported to Dispatch with all pertinent information necessary to maintain accurate records
- Interface with Dispatch regarding clean status of all guest units
- Clean interior stairways, entry ways, and doors
- Observe safety concerns and report damage
- Follow direction of Inspector and Supervisory team
- Provide standard unit cleaning as a GRA when necessary
- Assist in the Laundry when necessary
- Complete various additional special project task and assignments as needed
Qualifications - 1-2 years previous housekeeping experience in a fast paced resort operation
- Exceptional communications skills and command of English language
- Previous residential or condominium cleaning preferred
- Previous Housekeeping experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk on a consistent basis in an office environment
- Must be able to stoop, climb, squat, twist and lift light loads on a limited basis
- Exposed to extreme climates such as heat, rain, wind, and lighting on a limited basis
