As a CNA for Homeland Center, you will be contributing to a culture of care by providing hands-on care for residents within a skilled nursing setting.
- This opening requires a valid Pennsylvania Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
- All shifts, First (7am-3pm), Second (3pm-11pm), and Third (11pm-7am), with differentials offered for Second and Third Shifts.

Responsibilities include: - Attending to residents' needs according to care instructions.
- Recording vitals and communicating observations, including reporting changes in condition, bruises, skin tears, or unusual marks.
- Assisting with ADLs, including transporting to bathroom, ambulating, turning, repositioning, feeding, assisting with hydration, bathing, etc..
- Adhering to all Nurse Aide Certification standards, including following HIPPA Regulations, following all safety policies and procedures, and maintaining a high level of competency related to nursing assistant skills.
Requirements include: - Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a state approved CNA education and training program.
- Prior experience with Geriatric residents preferred.
- General understanding of medical terminology
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid and Current CNA Licensure from the State of Pennsylvania
- Computer Skills:
- Experience and familiarity with electronic charting programs or willing to be trained.
- Other Skills:
- Team Player that is willing to assist in the accomplishment of the overall goal of the facility and for the benefit of our residents.
- Exceptional compassion and caring towards others.
- Ability to understand and follow basic directions related to resident care.
