Summary:nnThe Quality Assurance Auditor - Manufacturing position is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in implementing and assuring compliance within the QA department.nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:nn. Perform Quality Assurance Auditor duties as needed.nnInspect incoming materials as needed to assure conformance with specifications and release materials for use in production.nnCollect, organize, and prepare Quality Assurance reports, as required.nnIssue Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Preventative Action Request (CAPAs), as needed; follow up to ensure completion of the corrective action items.nnResearch quality issues.nnAssist in internal and customer audits.nnParticipate in Customer recalls and annual mock recalls as needed.nnCoordinate Pest Control Program as needed.nnEnsure all tool calibrations are current and documented.nnAssist with department training.nnAssist the Food Safety Coordinator with duties as requested.nnVerify compliance with cGMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).nnAssist with and/or conduct cGMP training, if requested.nnResponsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.nnWork in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.nnOvertime is required.nnCommunicate Company policies, procedures, and customer requirements to other WRMD employees and to participate/assist in their development as needed.nnPerform other duties as assigned.nnSupervisory Responsibilities:nnThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.nnSmurfit Westrock (NYSE:SW) is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions.
