Job Description We are seeking Nurse Practitioners to join our Hospitalist team to be involved in all aspects of managing patients with acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with the supervising physician. Position Highlights:
- Judiciously manage resources to ensure hospitalization is efficient, expedited and evidence based.
- Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, engage with consultants and deliver comprehensive documentation.
- Educate patients and families to take full advantage of all resources that will support and enhance clinical outcomes during and after hospitalization.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of both inpatient and outpatient case managers for seamless discharge planning and outpatient services to reduce the risk of readmission.
- The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $135,000 - $140,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, and job related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Requirements Schedule: Full Time, 7 days on/7 days off, 12-hour shift 7am to 7pm Location: Hospitals in Los Angeles and Burbank Education and Experience:
- Graduate from accredited Nurse Practitioner program with MSN or DNP
- Nurse Practitioner license and furnishing license
- Board Certification
- Two year experience preferred as anNurse Practitioner
- New Nurse Practitioner graduates will be considered with Adult Gerontology Acute Care Board Certification and RN inpatient bedside experience
