Responsibilities

Position Summary:

In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, under the general direction of the Cardiovascular Lab Medical Director and Cardiac Cath Lab Director/Manager. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities, seek guidance when in doubt, promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations and when requested, assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation. When called upon, the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.

Qualifications

Minimum:

    n
  • Must have satisfactorily completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health, Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).
  • n
  • AHA certified Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • n
  • ARRT required
  • n
  • Radiology Technologist (CRT) required
  • n
  • Fluoroscopy (CT RTTF) CT ARRT (required Certification for specialty/modality if working that area (i.e. Vascular, Cardiac interventional)
  • n

Preferred:

  • One (1) year of Cardiology Rad Tech experience preferred.
