Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen is seeking a dedicated Regional Class A Tanker Driver to be part of our safety-focused team! This position involves driving from East Chicago, IN to various locations throughout the Midwest, covering an average of 1800-2200 miles per week .

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety, complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
• Operate tractor trailer tanker units effectively
• Adhere to weight regulations and ensure optimal utilization of the equipment
• Oversee the proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring loads are secured
• Placard vehicles in compliance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection records

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Minimum of 3 months tanker driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required
• Ability to work at heights
• Capability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Proficient in using required technology, including mobile apps and software
