We are looking for LPNs to join our Day Shift team! We offer PTO, 401k with match. We offer Health, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Voluntary Life. We also offer a Basic Life Insurance Policy at no charge to you.
A LPN's daily responsibilities will be to evaluate assigned patients within our facility and coordinate the CNAs in their daily care of residents. Your role as an LPN will be to maintain patient comfort and safety. You will also need to follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards. You will represent the facility with integrity, free of gifts or improper inducements. An LPN adheres to the facility's Core Values and mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person.
Licensed Practical Nurse Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing great patient care.
  • Establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients & families
  • Administering medications and other treatments
  • Assisting physicians during examinations & procedures
  • Promoting patient's independence by establishing, implementing, and directing care goals.
  • Resolving patient concerns and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
  • Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
  • Stay up to date on Nurse training & education and facility policy and procedure.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prefer at least 1 year experience
  • Completion of approved Licensed Practical Nurse program
  • Active state certified LPN license
  • Comfortable using a computer.
