Judge Direct Placement is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the operations of a medical device manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing site P&L, extensive experience with medical device projects, and a proven track record as a servant leader. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Management: Own and manage the site’s Profit and Loss (P&L) to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Project Management: Lead and manage medical device manufacturing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lean Manufacturing: Implement and promote lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase productivity. This includes identifying and eliminating non-value-adding activities and optimizing processes
- Team Leadership: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of servant leadership.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and improve operational performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a General Manager, Operations Director, or Plant Manager role, with a focus on P&L management and medical device manufacturing.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience as a servant leader, with a strong ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Lean Manufacturing: Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent strategic planning, project management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the medical device industry, including regulatory requirements and ISO:13485 quality standards.
