Our client the world’s largest publicly traded copper producer is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team! This a fully remote position and a 6-month contract opportunity!
This Talent Acquisition Specialist will be supporting the HR team with administrative tasks. Which include reporting, interviewing and assessing candidates. You will also be collaborating with the North American Talent Acquistion team based out of Phoenix, AZ and hiring managers to ensure candidates align with the qualification needs of the department.
*** This is a 6-month contract Position*** (possibility of extension)
**This position may be performed anywhere in the U.S. except: California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York and Oklahoma**
Required Skills & Experience
- Need candidates with strong Talent Acquisition experience and good work history.
- High School diploma or GED and six (6) years of Talent Acquisition/Human Resources-related experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of Talent Acquisition /Human Resources-related experience
- Employment law principles as they apply to recruiting/hiring
- Experience supporting an Operations group in an HR function including recruiting / TA activities
- Ability to pivot and support thirty (30) vacancies, and engage with multiple hiring managers and HR staff members

- Background in mining is a plus
