About this Role

Pockyt is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer with a strong technical and operational background to deliver innovative payment solutions. This role is critical in driving AI-driven automation , improving client experience, and scaling integration processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams—spanning Product, AI, Sales, Compliance, Risk, and Operations—to create and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and ensure exceptional results for merchants.

Key Responsibilities

Developer Setup and Configuration:

• Standardize and document sandbox and production setup processes.
• Create merchant test plans for seamless integration validation.
• Track metrics such as setup time, error rates, and client satisfaction.

AI-Driven Automation and Developer Environment Improvements:

• Collaborate with AI and Product teams to implement automation solutions for recurring tasks.
• Collect client feedback and log actionable product requests.
• Define and communicate clear product roadmaps to merchants.

QA and Testing:

• Standardize release verification processes and automate integration/regression tests.
• Track and address testing failures, ensuring robust production readiness.

Client-Facing Documentation and Support Optimization:

• Maintain a centralized repository for technical documentation, ensuring regular updates.
• Optimize the ticketing system (HubSpot vs. Jira) for issue tracking and define clear SLAs.
• Monitor support costs, ticket resolution times, and escalations.

Integration Project Management:

• Manage end-to-end project phases, including setup, sandbox, and production testing.
• Conduct daily stand-ups to resolve blockers and ensure project timelines are met.
• Utilize metrics and dashboards to track progress and optimize workflows.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in payments or financial services.
• 3+ years of hands-on programming experience (Python, Ruby, Go, Java, Kotlin, etc.).
• Proven expertise in implementing automation solutions and enhancing engineering processes.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, implementation, and integration.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize effectively.
