Summary
n
The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide direct patient care to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Job responsibilities include carrying out selected procedures, administration of medications, and treatments requiring understanding and technical ability in accordance with Halifax Health's policies for job related education and experience.

The Certified Medical Assistant will provide basic medical care and health teaching to patients in an outpatient, non-emergency care setting for an outpatient medical practice.

Job Qualifications
n
n - Currently licensed or eligible for LPN licensure in State of Florida or current Certification/Registration in Medical Assistance required
n - Graduation from an approved School of Nursing in a course of training for Licensed Practical Nurses or graduate of an approved school or institution for Medical Assistant's
n - Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel.
n - Additional certification required for LPN I and LPN II responsibilities.
