Job Description: We are seeking a talented Agile Coach to join our team and lead the PMO transformation effort with one of our government customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices and has also helped facilitate the transformation within the PMO department.
Details: 10 week, 2 phased approach. This coach will have to travel to Orlando, FL for on-site engagement as needed (travel expenses covered)
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training sessions and workshops aimed at introducing and reinforcing Agile principles, mindset, and culture within the organization.
- Develop comprehensive training modules covering topics such as Agile fundamentals, business requirement gathering, root cause analysis, and other relevant areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess training needs and tailor programs to address specific challenges and opportunities.
- Coach and mentor teams and individuals at all levels of the organization on Agile methodologies, practices, and tools.
- Provide guidance and support to teams during Agile transformations, helping to overcome obstacles and drive sustainable change.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Agile coaching and training, incorporating new insights into our programs as appropriate.
- Balance on-site presence in Orlando, FL with remote support as needed, fostering a hybrid work environment that maximizes effectiveness and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, CSPO, SAFe) preferred.
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach or similar role, with a focus on training and development.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, with practical experience applying them in a variety of contexts.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Experience developing and delivering training content, including workshops, presentations, and e-learning modules.
- Familiarity with business requirement gathering techniques, root cause analysis, and related practices.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.
