Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioners to join our Primary Care teams in Dundee, Penn Yan, and Seneca Falls, New York. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care through long-term relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Provide primary care services in an outpatient setting, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and preventive care.
- Diagnose and treat common medical conditions and manage chronic diseases.
- Perform physical exams, prescribe medications, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop treatment plans and educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Work Schedule: - Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
- Standard office hours with potential for flexible scheduling.
- Light call coverage, if necessary, shared with other practitioners.
Qualifications: - Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- New York State (NYS) Nurse Practitioner license.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Previous experience in a primary care setting preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to develop long-term relationships with patients.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality healthcare.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
