This position will manage the day-to-day fiscaland administrative duties for the HCO Project. The Office Manager isresponsible for directing and coordinating office activities. Thisposition is directly responsible for employee payroll, benefitsadministration, accounts payable and purchasing. The Office Manageroversees the Administrative Assistants and monitors their performance.This position is based in the Boston-area office and reports to theOperations Director. SPECIFICATIONS: Knowledge ? Bachelor?s Degree inrelated field preferred; Associate?s Degree accepted with prior officemanagement experience. A thorough knowledge of office procedurespertaining to duties and responsibilities of the job description isrequired. An understanding of Massachusetts Medicaid, EOHHS policies andmanaged care is preferred. Skills/Abilities - Must possess excellentcommunication (verbal and written), organization and advanced PC skills(i.e., Microsoft Office; Word and Excel). Ability to perform severaltasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. Must have the abilityto work well under pressure and relate to a broad range of employees.Must possess the ability to cope with conflicting points of view and tohandle the unexpected.
