Locums - Tulsa, Oklahoma, Addiction Medicine Job
  • Clinical Role:
    • Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!
    • Locum need
    • Seeking a family medicine or internal medicine physician
    • Board certification is not required
    • Addiction medicine experience preferred, not required
    • Must be able to assess medical appropriateness to be in the client's addiction recovery facility
    • You'd also initiate/continue clients on substance use discontinuation protocols
    • Reason for need: physician on PTO
    • Adult patients only
    • Needs are December 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, and 31
    • Work 8a-5p
    • December 23 would be a shadowing shift with the staff physician who will be on PTO the other days
    • See 16-18 patients per day
    • Work alongside a MA/nurse
    • EMR: an Echo product called VHR
    • Prescribing platform: New Crop
    • Must be able to bill for Medicaid patients
