Durable Medical Equipment Manager
Oversee and manage DME, Cold Therapy, and future service lines, ensuring efficient inventory management, training, and education across practice locations. This role requires 50% administrative tasks, travel for training, and collaboration with Clinical Operations and Service Line leadership to drive program success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory, tracking systems, and DME orders across locations.
- Train and educate staff on DME dispensing, tracking, and proper use.
- Ensure billing compliance, regulatory documentation, and pre-authorization processes.
- Perform brace measurements, fittings, and patient education.
- Develop and implement workflows for providers, clinical staff, and front desk teams.
- Conduct inventory audits, maintain materials management, and support new supply integration.
- Provide regular reporting and attend DME meetings.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Healthcare or related field; Certified Athletic Trainer preferred.
- Experience in materials management, orthopedic bracing, and healthcare settings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to travel to multiple office locations as needed. Mileage reimbursement available
