Compensation: $100,000 - $160,000

Billable Hours Requirement: 1800 billable hours per year

The law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Transactional Attorney to join their dynamic team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business transactions, including but not limited to estate planning, probate, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate law. Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of business transactional agreements, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and more.
• Provide legal counsel on business formation, succession planning, estate planning, and probate matters.
• Collaborate with clients to develop effective strategies and solutions for their business and estate planning needs.
• Manage client relationships and ensure timely and efficient completion of legal projects.
• Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in business and transactional law.
• Meet the firm’s billable hour requirement of 1800 hours annually.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 6+ years of experience in business transactions, estate planning, and/or probate law.
• Proven track record of handling complex transactional matters.
