Job Title: Design Engineer – Valve Systems

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000

The Role

• Designing and developing prototypes to validate design concepts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Performing engineering calculations and supporting designs with MathCAD software.
• Collaborating with manufacturing, quality assurance, vendors, and contractors to optimize product development.
• Applying geometric tolerance techniques based on ANSI Y14.5M-1994.
• Visiting customer sites to validate design specifications and resolve product issues.
• Keeping up with technological developments to incorporate innovative design solutions.

The Candidate

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of design engineering experience, preferably in valves or fluid handling devices.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MathCAD.
• A deep understanding of geometric tolerance techniques and ANSI standards.
• A self-starter attitude, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
