- Ability to report child/adult abuse to the appropriate agencies
Job Description:
- Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
- Be accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
