Position Summary & Responsibilities: Position Summary: This Management Analyst II position is located in Topeka, at the Eisenhower State Office Building, and is within the Office of Information Technology Services. This position provides diverse logistical and administrative support for the Division and Agency-primarily in the areas of IT procurements, software licensing management, budgetary support, and office equipment inventory management, and requires high level technical knowledge of assigned areas. The qualified candidate must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: - Performs routine purchases of IT hardware, software, maintenance, enterprise licensing, and the Dell Computer Lease Program in accordance with the established procedures and guidelines as well as other IT procurement duties.
- Serves as staff consultant/advisor to KDOT managers in the purchase of multi-user servers including hardware, operating systems, and other utility software and licenses.
- Performs inventory reviews and reports findings to supervisor, and provides technical guidance, training, and assistance to users and provides work to improve the inventory system.
- Participates in review analysis, planning, coordination, development, and tracking of budgets included within the Division, and assists the IT Business Manager with developing reports presented to the Division Director regarding budget status.
- Maintains library of sets of software media for the Division and serves as the contact person for checking software media in and out to Division staff.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Four years of experience in collecting, evaluating, studying, and reporting on statistical, economic, fiscal/budget, legislative, or administrative data.
- Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. Transcripts are required for education to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications: - Background in information technology.
- Solid understanding of data management, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Experience with a variety of Microsoft 0365 programs.
- Excellent professional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask.
