LPN Job Description - Dearborn Heights Location: 26001 Ford Rd., Dearborn Heights, MI, 48127 Job Summary: The LPN will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. The LPN will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities: - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Document patient care in medical records
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Qualifications: - Current LPN license in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
