We're seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our client's team in Kingston.

What You'll Do:
The Project Coordinator plays a key role in organizing, administering, and controlling project activities under the guidance and supervision of a Project Manager. This position involves supporting and collaborating with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure the effective management and execution of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage project documentation, including but not limited to meeting minutes, change orders, site instructions, owner’s instructions, shop drawings, drawing logs, draft progress claims, field notices, and sustainability requirements (e.g., LEED, waste management, erosion and sediment control, materials testing).
- Establish and maintain project reporting procedures, such as cost reports, project status reports, and document control for drawings and shop drawings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (e.g., RFIs, vendor/subcontractor, purchase, owner), track responses, and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with trade contractor site meetings, RFIs, invoices, and document control processes.
- Oversee project administration activities, including payroll, timekeeping, labor coding, equipment coding, purchase order coding, and safety reporting.
- Review construction plans to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and structural standards.
- You will spend 50% of your time on site and 50% in the office.
What We're Looking For:
- Possess a technical diploma in a construction-related field (CET) or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
- At least one year of experience as a Project Coordinator in construction.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam Revu.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction trades, safety protocols, and construction techniques.
- Familiarity with local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances, and legislation.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
