Senior Solutions Architect

Overview:

Our Clients Alternate Solutions Group, under Capital Markets Technology, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to work closely with the Senior Director of the group as well as the Team, to design and develop a strategic product and technology roadmap. This roadmap will focus on one of our clients key product, which is a white-label solution offered to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, product strategy, and technology integration, with the ability to translate business goals into scalable, forward-thinking technical solutions.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our client and other key stakeholders to gather requirements and define the strategic objectives for the product roadmap
• Design, develop, and document the product and technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and future scalability
• Lead architecture design sessions, creating blueprints for system integration, platform enhancements, and scalability improvements
• Partner with development teams, product managers, and business leaders to ensure seamless implementation of roadmap initiatives
• Evaluate current systems and identify opportunities for modernization and optimization, including cloud-based solutions and automated processes
• Ensure architecture designs comply with security, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Act as a key advisor to our client on best practices, industry trends, and innovative technologies to enhance product offerings
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Payments, Delivery, and other Stakeholders, to align architectural goals across the organization
• Prepare presentations and documentation to communicate roadmap progress and obtain stakeholder buy-in

Must-Haves:

• Experience in Solution Architecture, product strategy, or technology consulting, preferably in financial services or capital markets or fintech
• Azure Cloud experience
• Database, API & System Integration experience
• Microsoft Architecture experience
• Microservice Infrastructure
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing technology roadmaps for complex products
• Deep understanding of Payments, FX, Currency Conversion, Multi-Currency Pricing, Cross-Border Payment Solutions, FX Risk Management Tools, International Payment Gateways, Peer-to-Peer Currency Exchange Platforms or similar financial technology products
• Experience with modern architectural practices, including cloud computing (Azure preferred), microservices, and APIs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams
• Proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and innovative architectural solutions
• Experience with vendor evaluation and management for technology solutions

Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous experience with white-label products or services
• Hands-on experience with automation technologies and building centers of excellence
• Knowledge of payments processing, POS systems, or similar domains
• Familiarity with emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, or advanced data analytics for product innovation
• Strong project management or leadership skills to drive roadmap implementation
