Marketers on Demand is looking to recruit an experienced Systems Design Specialist for a great client of ours in the GTA. This position will be responsible for performing system design, analysis, modelling, and simulation to specify communication-based control systems. This role will have you performing the design work correctly with limited supervision and within cost and schedule limits, as defined in approved work packages.

Additional Roles and responsibilities:

• Converts Customer (internal and/or external) requirements into conceptual designs
• Performing operational analysis, simulations and technical trade-off studies
• Presents technical design to other engineering/management groups
• Prepares and supports customer requirements compliance assessment and gap analysis
• Work in cross functional environment with a variety of stakeholders
• Performs technical/engineering tasks to define, application databases for software subsystems

Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer sciences, Engineering or a closely related field
• 2+ years of similar experience in development of software-based System applications.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices
• Experience in using DOORS, Polarion, Melody advance or similar
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Strong Project Management experience

Please note, this is a hybrid position that requires you to be on-site twice a week.
