JDE Designs, LLC is a growing architecture firm concentrating on residential design. Our primary focus is designing custom residences for individual homeowners, as well as semi-custom and production designs for local builders. We are seeking an Licensed Architect with 5-10 years of experience in all phases of residential design and construction documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptual sketching of new residential designs
• Production of schematic and detailed working drawings
• Development of Construction Documents
• Production of presentation materials and/or renderings

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential architecture
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD/AutoCAD Architecture
• Experience with SketchupPro
• Experience with Adobe Design Suite
• Detail Oriented
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of construction methods and processes
• Candidate must be able to successfully manage multiple residential projects simultaneously
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with exceptional time management skills
• Candidate must have great interpersonal communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively and confidently with colleagues and clients
• Must excel in conceptual planning skills, strive for high quality and innovative design solutions and show initiative in problem solving
