Job Description

Our client, an industry leading asset manager, is seeking an experienced Workday professional to join its Human Capital Management team as an individual contributor, reporting to the HRIS Director.


This role involves providing ongoing support and driving optimization efforts across various Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Learning, Performance Management, and Talent.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Workday functional expert to configure and maintain core functionality (e.g., business processes, calculated fields, notifications, organizational hierarchies, custom objects, EIBs).
  • Implement and deliver technical and functional solutions for new features, including project management, requirement gathering, user acceptance testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with HCM stakeholders to understand current processes and recommend creative improvements.
  • Contribute to Workday strategy and design by staying informed about upcoming releases and their potential impact on current functionality.
  • Provide daily support to the HCM team, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports, including calculated fields as needed.
  • Lead efforts for annual HCM processes such as year-end compensation cycles, benefits open enrollment, and performance management.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and HCM-related initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5 years of Workday experience, with expertise in configuration, business processes, report writing, calculated fields, and security (experience with the Recruiting module is preferred).
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Critical thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Financial services industry experience is a plus.
