Exciting opportunity for a driven Pasta Cook/Line cook eager to learn and grow with a company. CENTO was started from Chef Avner's desire to share his experiences with the people around him through cooking.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Please customers by providing a pleasant dining experience
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet our restaurant's high standards
- Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Assists with receipt of deliveries.
- Ensures smooth operation of pasta station
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
- Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules.
- Assists with orienting new employees to their work area.
- Assists with daily prep
- Works closely with Chef de Cuisine / Sous Chef to continuously improve operations
- Assist with inventory and purchases
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
