Hamilton Miller & Birthisel LLP is currently seeking experienced Paralegals for full-time positions in their litigation defense practice, specializing in insurance defense, including premises/bodily injury and first-party property cases & more.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Experience : 3-5 years in insurance defense, specifically in premises/bodily injury and first-party property.
• Skills :
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, a team player, and capable of multitasking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with state and federal court rules.
• Ability to follow client billing guidelines and manage billing entries.
• Prior trial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Locate and contact factual witnesses.
• Draft witness and exhibit lists.
• Organize case documents accurately.
• Identify and reach out to experts, assist in preparing hearing and trial notebooks, and support during trials.
• Conduct initial case investigations, gather facts, draft pleadings and discovery documents (interrogatories, requests for production).
