Job Description :
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our company's accounts payable duties, including processing and verifying invoices, preparing payment runs, and maintaining accurate financial records and reports. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our financial operations.
Responsibilities :

• Review, verify, and process invoices and check requests
• Handle vendor payments and track expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
• Set invoices up for payment and ensure timely processing
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analysis of accounts
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Assist with monthly closings and prepare analysis of accounts as requested
• Produce monthly reports and assist with year-end closing
• Provide supporting documentation for audits

Qualifications :

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Must have experience with accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information
