Valley Medical Group is looking for a Registered Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology team and is willing to cover shifts in all 4 of our centers. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!
Position: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Northampton, with willingness totravel to all 4 of our centers (Northampton, Easthampton, Amherst. Greenfield)
Hours: Per Diem. Monday-Friday generally between 8:30 - 5:00pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.
The Radiologic Technologist will operate Radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-rays, as directed.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment
  • Produce diagnostic imaging following set department protocols
  • Follow ALARA and radiation safety at all times
  • Independently evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality
  • Promote safety and provide the highest level of patient care.
  • Knowledge of core computer programs such as EMR, PACS, and Cloud-based platforms for sharing medical images, and aptitude for working with new systems and software
  • Manage Radiology orders, billing functions, and scheduling patients for Radiology exams
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification
  • Current State of Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License*
*Must provide documentation of current and prior biennium CEUs
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Athena and eRAD experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail oriented
