Job Description:

• Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care
• Assists in selecting supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Responsible for securing instruments, supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure.
• Opens sterile packages using sterile technique.

Requirements:
- CST licensure (NBSTSA)
- BLS (AHA)
- HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2 years of experience required with hepatobiliary, transplants, robotic, spine, neuro, cardiac procedures
Shift : 4 x 10 variable - start times from 0645A-1300; weekends included in schedule rotation
Day 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15) and Mid 4x10-Hour (13:00 - 23:30)
Skills and Knowledge:

• Must have demonstrated knowledge of effective English written and communication add basic computer proficiency skills.
• Requires critical thinking skill, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a ever-changing environment and respond appropriately to complex situations.
