We unite to improve lives through innovation, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to achieving unparalleled excellence in patient care.nnDescriptionnnSHIFT: 7:30 AM-4 PM / 40 HOURS / FULL-TIMEnnLOCATION: EMORY JOHNS CREEK HOSPITALnnProvides quality care to patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the interventional suite and operating room.nnCommunicates patients' needs and response through appropriate verbal and written communications.nnEnsures documentation is complete and accurate regarding all aspects of patient care.nnResponsible for proper operation of imaging and specialty equipment as well as keeps abreast of uses of medical devices.nnDemonstrates an adequate knowledge of anatomy and physiology.nnProvides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.nnAssists with performing multiple diagnostic procedures in appropriate sequence and time frame.nnProvides quality care to patients during procedures; prepares patients for procedures with proper sterile technique.nnTakes precautions to minimize patient and staff exposure to radiation.nnAssists with patient and family education.nnMay support or assist in research and related activities.nnAssists in training radiology staff and students.nnPerforms other related duties as required.nnMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:nnGraduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.nnMust have a minimum of two (2) years experience with one (1) year in IR.nnAdvanced certification in Vascular Interventional (VI) Radiography preferred.nnBLS certification required.nnJOIN OUR TEAM TODAY!
