Its service area also reaches into southern Virginia. With more than 600 team members, the hospital offers a broad range of medical and surgical services. It features a 24-hour emergency department and offers advanced diagnostics as well as specialty and primary care.
Position Summary $7,500 Sign-On bonus for eligible candidates A Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist IV is a CT Professional that is qualified by professional credentialing and academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using CT and related diagnostic CT procedures. The scope of practice of the CT Technologist IV includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience, has demonstrated competency, and has completed the appropriate ARRT (R) (CT) registry(s) which is the standard of practice in Radiology.
Minimum Requirements - High school or equivalent (or higher)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current ARRT (CT)
- 8 yrs experience as CT Technologist
Clinical Ladder Other Information - Primary Shift: Rotating
- On Call: No
- Weekends: Rotating
- IMPORTANT: This position is listed as a CT Technologist IV, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a CT Technologist I, II, III or IV.
