Cognivue, Inc. is a Rochester, NY based startup aiming to change the standard of care to routine cognitive function screening, to allow for early intervention and proper management as well as eliminate uncertainty about cognitive function. Cognivue® is the world’s first FDA-cleared, computerized test of cognitive function: a risk assessment screening tool that identifies changes in cognitive function that could be indicative of early dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease.


Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Customer Support Specialist at Cognivue, Inc. in Victor, NY. The Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for providing customer support, technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

This person will be a high-performing team member that will support multi-departmental projects as needed. Management will provide to ensure this role has everything they need to be successful.


Job Responsibilities: 

·       Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner

·        Collaborate with the Sales Team to assure seamless customer setup

·        Record and process customer concerns via Salesforce

·        Assure prompt resolution of customer requests

·        Work with the Operations Manager to assure requests are processed with accuracy and in a timely manner

·        Collaborate with all departments to ensure a seamless business execution while maintaining customer satisfaction

·        Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate channels

·        Stay current with all required trainings

·        Assist in the building of Cognivue Thrive and Clarity devices

Qualifications/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred

• 2+ years of experience in a customer support role

• A high level of skill in using computers is a required; skills in Linux terminal is preferred 

• Willingness to learn new skills 

• Comfortable with on-the-job training/development and evolution of cross functional team interactions as the department and company continue to grow

• Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)


Hybrid Role: Must be based in/near Rochester, New York.
