A Snapshot of Your DayThe Human Resources Business Partner position will partner directly with leadership teams for an assigned area of responsibility within the Gas Services Large Generator (LGN) business at Siemens Energy based in Charlotte, NC. This position will deliver consultative HR services aligned to the business strategy for a population of approximately 400-600 employees. This position will have the ability to understand the business, the strategy and the mission to deliver integrated Human Resources consultation services and programs across the business.
How You'll Make an Impact- Proactively drive HR people agenda within organization as aligned with business goals. As a trusted partner to and a member of the assigned product line leadership teams, you will bring an independent viewpoint and HR expertise to business issues.
- Cultivate leadership development at all levels through mentoring with managers and employees.
- Promote and champion diversity efforts in hiring, promotion, and people development.
- Advise with partnered organization on strategies and communications crafted to build an environment that drives individual and team success. Provide counsel to managers and employees consistent with Siemens Energy policies.
- Partner with the leadership team on talent development and performance management to improve employee contributions and address performance gaps.
- Lead and/or participate in HR project teams to drive standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Partner across other stakeholder groups as part of the HR target operating model to address escalated questions and issues as needed.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field such as Human Resources or Organizational Development. A Master's degree in Human Resources related field preferred. SHRM or HRCI Certification desired.
- 5+ years of successful experience in human resources consultation with successful demonstration of the key responsibilities as presented above, including supporting and collaborating with teams in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
- Proven success influencing leadership and partnering with other stakeholders and a Proven track record to prioritize, research, analyze, problem-solve, and make decisions rapidly and with positive outcomes that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate optimally, in both written and oral presentation skills.
- Ability to be flexible and agile in a highly matrixed and complex organization.
