JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abaco is seeking a creative professional responsible for leading the development and execution of compelling marketing and communication materials that align with corporate and government agency needs, while adhering to strict compliance regulations, developing and implementing impactful communication plans and campaigns targeting government clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Vision: Develop and oversee the creative vision for government contracting campaigns, ensuring alignment with the company's brand identity and business requirements.

Creative Leadership: Lead and mentor creative professionals including graphic designers, copywriters, and digital creatives, providing guidance and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.

Compliance Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of government procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS, to ensure all creative materials adhere to compliance standards.

Client Management: Collaborate closely with internal teams and government clients to understand their needs, present creative concepts, and manage expectations throughout the project.

Concept Development: Generate innovative and compelling creative concepts for proposals, presentations, marketing materials, website content, and digital campaigns tailored to government audiences and talent capture. Develop internal sites (e.g., SharePoint, intranet)

Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that highlight the value proposition of the company's solutions and resonate with government decision-makers. Lead effort to develop internal communications to keep employees motivated, engaged, and informed

Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of creative projects within budget and deadlines.

Quality Control: Ensure all creative deliverables meet high standards of quality and consistency with brand guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in creative field plus 5-8 years of relevant experience

Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

Experience in marketing and communications

Strong creative leadership and ability to manage a team of designers and copywriters

Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with government clients

Proficiency in design software and digital marketing tools

Ability to quickly adapt to changing government priorities and regulations

TYPICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Collaborative work environment with frequent interaction with cross-functional teams including service delivery, business development, finance and accounting, information technology and human resources

Potential for travel to client sites to present creative concepts and build relationships

Fast-paced environment and the need to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

WORK CONDITIONS:

Work is primarily performed in an office environment.
