Job Description Job Title: Business Development and Technical Sales Director - AbatementDepartment: SalesReports to (position name): VP Tier 1 Fabs + ApplicationsFLSA Status (Exempt or Non-exempt): ExemptPosition Summary / Job ScopeThe business development and technical sales director - abatement will own developing the US market for Busch Group abatement systems. This includes both identifying potential opportunities as well as supporting existing sales efforts. Additionally, this role should identify all USPs and align with the EU and SEA market groups.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities- Lead all customer technical sales presentations to introduce the centrotherm Clean Solutions product line, selling value of the centrotherm Clean Solutions brand
- Build relationships with both new and existing customers to find opportunities for future centrotherm Clean Solutions partnerships
- Be the face of the company at trade shows and exhibitions, both at the company-sponsored booths as well as giving technical seminars
- Build sales strategy plan for US region as well as yearly sales forecasts
- Train Busch and Pfeiffer sales teams on abatement sales strategies, highlighting opportunities for value selling and unique selling propositions
Secondary Functions- Own all technical marketing collateral and sales training documentation
- Identify target customers for NPI rollout and own evaluation process, ensuring all KPIs and success criteria are clearly defined and agreed upon
- Document all customer sales discussions and opportunities in CRM
- Give input on product roadmap and potential CIP, as well as highlighting potential competition risks from new products or industry trends
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Knowledge and Skills- Strong chemical and engineering background
- Strong attention to detail and good project management skills
- Strong verbal communicator to both communicate centrotherm Clean Solution's value as well as influence customer decisions
- Excellent data analysis
- Experience building presentations to introduce customers to a new supplier or new centrotherm Clean Solution product line
Minimum and Preferred Education/Training/Experience- Bachelor's Degree in technical or engineering field or equivalent experience required, advanced degree strongly preferred
- 10+ years experience in the semiconductor industry required
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions - Office-based role with heavy computer usage
- Travel to and work at regional customer sites and external conferences
- May require up to 33% travel
