rEvolution is seeking a VP, Digital Media Strategy to join our growing sports marketing agency. In this role, reporting to the Chief Client Officer, you will provide direction, management and leadership to our media department with a focus on digital activation. You will lead strategic and tactical planning while ensuring that activation teams are sticking to approved strategy and making adjustments per client direction. You will also be responsible for day-to-day client management and collaboration amongst internal segment and external client teams.

You Will:
  • Drive omnichannel media activations across search, display, social, programmatic, CTV, video and emerging channels.
  • Leverage advanced testing and measurement techniques to track, analyze and optimize performance.
  • Carefully watch marketplace dynamics and evaluate current offerings and capabilities; Work with senior leadership to identify and close gaps as necessary.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership and a strong POV on how digital media fits within a connected marketing world through strong partnerships with rEvolution's Analytics & Insights, Account Management, Strategy, and Creative departments.
  • Celebrate creative and innovative ideas, from high-level strategic thinking down to the tactical level.
  • Guide clients and internal teams in the planning and execution of masterful digital executions, acting as a trusted resource for clients and agency team members.
  • Oversee the media buying process, including the selection and negotiation of media channels, placements and ad formats to maximize reach and impact.
  • Maintain financial oversight of program budgets, including staffing and resource requirements.
  • Lead the day-to-day client interaction and build, maintain, and grow client relationships and client business.
  • Build and mentor a team of high-performing media professionals, fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Strong presentation skills and client facing acumen as part of pitch team/account team
  • Keen knowledge and ability to determine target demographic and make data-driven decisions to influence brand client growth


You Have:
  • 12+ years of experience guiding, planning and leading media strategy; ideally in an agency setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field
  • 6+ years of management experience
  • Deep knowledge of digital media channels, including but not limited to social, search, display, programmatic, CTV, Video and other emerging channels.
  • A strong understanding of analytics to inform and validate planning and strategy.
  • History of identifying media opportunities, presenting them to clients, and executing.
  • Experience monitoring and recommending improvements to the entire media planning process.
