HR Business Partner in
Boston, MA. *A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) works with leaders and coworkers to drive business results that are in line with the Boston Beer Company Mission, Vision, and Values and strategy. The HRBP will partner with BBC leaders to establish, lead and coordinate efforts which positively impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of talent as well as maintain the company's strong culture.
What You'll Brew: - Establish strong and effective working relationships with internal and external customers to promote and support positive employee relations, company culture and coworker engagement efforts
- Develop and lead execution of P&C programs that support departmental objectives. Programs should positively impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of talent as well as maintain the company's strong culture.
- Drive and support all performance management, talent management, and talent development programs for internal customers
- Deliver comprehensive employee relations support utilizing consulting, coaching, counseling, and influencing skills
- Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Assist coworkers and managers by handling P&C related questions, policies, and helping resolve employee relations issues as needed
- Provide guidance on Company policy as outlined in the Coworker Handbook and in accordance with all BBC policies and procedures
- Create and facilitate training programs as necessary
- Help maintain accurate and up to date Job Role library
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department/organization
- Conduct exit interviews, share feedback, highlight trends
- Standard office environment which includes desk, conference rooms, break rooms, etc.
- Potential to be in an environment that is complex that necessitates high situational awareness
- Occasional travel may be required and is at the discretion of your manager based on the needs of your position
What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3+ years of generalist/business partner level HR experience
- Exceptional consulting, coaching and feedback skills
- Ability to influence without formal authority by building positive working relationships and partnerships
- Strong experience with and affinity for employee relations
- Knowledge and understanding of HR laws and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity
- Strong proficiency in all MS Office programs
Preferred Qualifications:Level: 6At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $91,800 and $156,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for an discretionary annual bonus based on company and induvial performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
