DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
Create and foster relationships with leaders as a trusted adviser and subject matter expert on all employee relations matters toward creating an engaged workplace environment where employees feel valued and committed to furthering the mission of MU Health Care.
Develop and implement solutions based on relevant data analytics and other key metrics toward the mitigation and/or resolution of unique employment related issues.
Review, develop and continually assess, in partnership with key HR stakeholders, all efforts that impact employee experience during the course of the employment life cycle at MU Health Care.
Conduct neutral, impartial, and thorough workplace investigations and collaborate with relevant partners to implement meaningful resolutions.
Provide consultation to all levels of management and employees to ensure MUHC core values are supported through organizational policies/procedures and other HR initiatives.
May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, law, psychology, public administration, or other related discipline providing a broad understanding of general business practices or human resource theories.
Minimum of 5 years of professional level human resources related experience.
Five (5) years of employee relations or comparable experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree.
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification by Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification by Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), or related certification.
Staff or leadership development and training experience.
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
