Base Pay Range: $68,266 - $111,426, based on experience

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide consultation and direction to leaders and employees on employee relations matters including performance management and improvement, policy application, conflict resolution, progressive discipline, relevant healthcare regulatory requirements and other employment laws/regulations e.g. Title VII, ADA, ADEA, Title IX, FLSA, Affordable Care Act, Section 1557 etc.

Implement solutions based on relevant metrics toward the mitigation and/or resolution of unique employment related issues.

Conduct neutral, impartial, and thorough workplace investigations and collaborate with relevant partners on implementing remedial and proactive solutions.

Guide leaders and employees on strategies to inspire engagement, growth and development, foster collaboration and inclusivity in alignment with organizational values.

Support the administration of the organization's innovative performance management system and employee engagement efforts.

Continually review, assess and implement enhancements to efforts and procedures that impact employee experience during the course of an employee's life cycle at MU Health Care.

Augment diversity, equity and inclusion efforts through employee and leader guidance, tracking and communicating relevant metrics.

Possess a growth mindset with the ability to demonstrate: 1) change readiness; 2) accountability; 3) receptivity to feedback; 4) ability to provide constructive feedback 5) collaboration; 6) sound judgment; 7) trustworthiness; 8) integrity.

May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, law, psychology, public administration, or other related discipline providing a broad understanding of general business practices and/or human resource theories.

Five (5) years of professional level human resources experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification by the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM).

Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
